Maria Składowska Curie was born in WOrso on 7 November 1867. She was very famous women. When she was 9 years her mother died and Maria feel into a depression. In 1877 Maria started a high school but she went on uniwerity in Paris. There she met Pierre Curie the young physics professor and she married him. Maria and her husbans devoted their lives to science and radioactivity. In 1903 they won the Nobel Pize for Physic. She hadn't easy life, because in 1906 her husband died on street acctident. She wasn't give in. Maria Składowska Curie won the Nobel Prize for Chemistry in 1911. She was a first person to win two Nobel Prizes! Maria died on 4 July 1934 from exposive to radiaton. On years later Maria and Pierr's doughter Irena won the Nobel Prize for chemistry. I think that was a very important woman.
